Tribute to Richard Webster

There is a very nice tribute to Richard Webster on the  Woodstock Bookshop. It says: Very sad news. Richard Webster has died, aged only 60. People who have come to the shop since we started three years ago will remember him well – he worked here for a year or so. I met him soon after I opened because he came in and introduced himself and said that he had thought of opening a bookshop in Woodstock after he stopped running the Southwold Bookshop and moved to Oxford. We are delighted to report that Richard Webster has announced that Orwell Press are due to publish a new book of his on false allegations later this month. It will be titled Casa Pia – the making of a European witch hunt. The book describes as one of the largest and longest lasting peadophile rings scare their has ever been, and one which argulably has caused the most damage to the instititutions of the country in which it originated – Portugal. Our attention has been drawn to a new book which details the experience of Nik Greene an Englishman who was falsely accused in France of abusing his adopted daughter.
