Jules Mattsson compensated for military parade photo ban From time to time FACT has had occasion to be critical of young people who are browbeaten by police pressure. On this occasion we salute the action and determination of a young photographer who when asked by the police to stop photographing a military parade stood his ground. A head teacher with cancer was banned from parks, libraries and leisure centres after his resentful assistant made false allegations that he bullied her, an employment tribunal found. James Walker, a popular and long-serving head, was driven to the brink of suicide when his employers treated him in a manner “which bordered callousness”, a judge said. A dance teacher has been charged with making a false accusation that he was groped by X-Factor judge Louis Walsh in the toilets of a Dublin nightclub. Leonard Watters (24), a father of two from Navan, Co Meath, of no fixed address, was arrested in his home town on Tuesday, after allegedly making an unfounded claim to the Garda that Mr Walsh had assaulted him in the Krystle nightclub, after a Westlife concert in the O2 in April.
