Social workers rally to defend cleared babysitter

SOCIAL workers have leapt to the defence of a babysitter acquitted of killing a one-year-old boy in her care. Unnamed sources in Edinburgh’s social work department were yesterday quoted in one newspaper as saying Tina McLeod was not capable of deliberately harming a child.
