An innocent man who suffered months of abuse over false claims that he was a paedophile has died after suffering a heart attack. Bryan Davies, 63, was branded a child molester after two girls claimed he sexually touched them. A police investigation was carried out and the claims against Mr Davies, who was disabled, were found to be false. But Mr Davies, a retired car mechanic, was still subjected to abuse and threats over five months. A brick was thrown through a window of the house he shared with his wife, their car tyres were slashed and he was constantly abused with shouts of ‘paedo’ and ‘pervert’. Mr Davies suffered a stroke and was later admitted to hospital with a kidney problem. He died last Friday after a heart attack
