Husband of Sally Clark accused of sons murder

A leading paediatrician said yesterday he still believed the husband of Sally Clark, the mother convicted of killing her two sons who was released on appeal last year, was the real murderer. Prof David Southall, who telephoned police to make the accusation after watching a documentary, said he had felt compelled to act because of his concern about the safety of the couple’s third child.He primarily drew his conclusion after hearing Stephen Clark, 42, describe how he failed to call an ambulance when his first child, Christopher, suffered a nosebleed and was struggling to breathe.He said that his experience indicated that similar examples of negligence when faced with such upsetting symptoms were a strong indicator that it was the parent who “caused it”….
