Vigil Networks

It is important that F.A.C.T has the confidence and the ability to take its message to the general public. If it is to be effective it must have a strong and visible support base.

One way of doing this is through vigils at key events/locations. In the past F.A.C.T has mounted silent lobbies at Court hearings, Prisons, Tribunals of Inquiry, Government Meetings, and at conferences held  professional bodies.

These vigils have always been beneficial in that they have enabled F.A.C.T. to become better known and help us establish a better dialogue with those who might disagree with us.

If you would are interested in becoming a member of a vigil team please contact one of our regional co-ordinators or our national vigil co-ordinator. If you have a morning to spare every month or so this an excellent way of meeting F.A.C.T. members and supporting F.A.C.T in its campaign work.

F.A.C.T does not support violent or unlawful protest. You wont be asked to dress up as Robin or Batman or end up being chained to the Houses of Parliament. We are very civilised and try to maintain a quiet dignity in what we do. That way people listen and take notice!
