Arrest and Interview

The Arrest and Interview leaflet explains what might happen if you have been arrested and/or are facing a police interview. If you are in this position you are strongly advised to contact an solicitor who has experience of defending child abuse accusations.  Do not under any circumstances speak to the police without your lawyer being present. Without some one else being present you will not be able to evidence what was said to you, what you said, and you may not be treated correctly.
