Iris asks some searching questions about why children who made no complaint about their treatment whilst in care did so years later, how could someone who apparently had no experience of being sexual abused describe in accurate detail such an event, and why were some staff who could prove their innocence accused of child abuse?
Iris compares and contrasts the two groups commonly accused of child abuse; the cot death mothers and falsely accused caers and teachers. According to Iris both both groups of persons, have been totally failed by British justice.
