NSPCC admit children make false allegations
ByAccording to an article in Community Care (1st December 2005) the NSPCC admit that sometimes children do make false allegations of child abuse. The sting in the tail however is that according to the NSPCC they do so in an attempt to draw attention away from the fact that abuse is occuring elsewhere in their lives. One might have expected the NSPCC to at least acknowledge the impact false allegations of abuse have on those who have been falsely and on the their children – but not a word. It seems that the NSPCC is living upto its name – the Never Stop Promoting Children’s Complaints – even if they are untrue – Full Stop!
